FAQ
We want the family session to be easy, comfortable and fun for everyone. We want you to have beautiful memories of a particular moment, frozen in time, that you can hold onto. Come with an open mind, with little to no expectations of how your child might behave during the session. You’ll be surprised how even the most seemingly chaotic of sessions can still create beautiful pictures that you’ll cherish forever. All we ask is for you to trust our expertise and know that we will make the most out of our session and we want to give you the best that we possibly can (:

You know your kids best! As educators ourselves, we do believe that it helps when the children are informed about the photoshoot and know what is expected of them. Depending on the family package that you’ve chosen, we suggest that you talk to your child about the session - where we’ll be taking pictures, what they’ll be wearing… We want to get them excited for the session!
If your child’s nap time is an important part of the day, please bring it up with us and we are more than happy to work with you to find the best time for us to schedule the photoshoot.

There is no hard and fast rule about what you should wear, but we advise you to always choose comfort! If you’re worried about how the colour of your outfits will turn out, you cannot go wrong with neutral tones. Another tip is to avoid wearing clothes with large texts and prints so that the clothes don’t take anything away from everything beautiful that’s captured in the photos (: Always bear in mind the season that your family session has been booked. If your children tend to feel cold easily, prepare a suitable jacket that you’ll be happy to have them put on during the photoshoot.

One hundred percent YES! Dogs are definitely welcomed because they are part of your family. We’ve only ever had dogs and rabbits being brought for a family session, but we would love to photograph any of your loved animals if you just let us know ahead of time. Be assured that it’ll not be a problem!
We advise that you pack along some treats for the photoshoot. We’re sure that your furbaby deserves treats just for being the most awesome versions of themselves and loving you unconditionally, but the treats are very helpful when we’re trying to pose them. It will also be useful to bring along their favourite toy to help us get their attention when all they want to do is look at you (:
You know your dog the best. If our session is the time of the day that your dog gets his/her usual walk, please try to plan your time such that your dog gets a little bit of the walk he/she needs before our session. The session will run more smoothly and with less stress and frustration when we have a calm dog rather than one who is tugging at the leash.
